The 24th General Conference of ICOM (International Council of Museums) took place in Milan from the 3rd – 9th  of July, 2016. This major global museum event gathered more than 3500 museum professionals from more than 130 countries in Milan to discuss the topic “Museums and Cultural Landscapes”.

The event was very successful. “In just three days, we met over 200 representatives of museum institutions, from over 50 countries – an uncontestable success for our business. The international scope of this fair surpasses anything we had seen before” said Inese Cernagina – senior account manager in Groglass®.

The event takes place every three years. Kyoto was selected as the host city for the 2019 edition of the General Conference, during which museum profesionals will converge for an entire week to discuss, exchange ideas and reflect on museum-related issues.
